In a tradition going back to the earliest days of the Christian church, I greet you with “He is risen!” A traditional answer back is, “He is risen indeed!”
Today is the highest day in the Christian church where we remember that as Christians we are not all about death but resurrection. We are resurrection people. We know because of Christ rising from the grave that there is victory over death available to us all and we give Him the praise for it. In an often dark and gloom-filled world, the resurrection gives us wonder, hope and even adds color to our world. Come celebrate with us!
If you have stumbled across this page, know that you are invited to come and worship with us, just as you are. Bring someone or many someones with you to hear this wonderful message this morning.
We will also celebrate this day by taking Holy Communion. All people who seek Christ are invited to the table!
As noted above, we will not have evening activities today. Come, and celebrate the risen Christ with us!
